Reference laboratory for anthrax
Provides full-range laboratory diagnosis of Bacillus anthracis using cultivation, microscopic and serological methods. It also conducts PCR detection of B. anthracis, including the genome sequencing of this pathogen. The routine activity of detecting B. anthracis in materials and veterinary commodities is completed by cooperation with active entities in humane medicine and in the tertiary sector.
