FAQ

What material can I send you for molecular genetic detection of botulinum toxin producing clostridia?

The most suitable materials for this type of testing are samples of feed (pellets, canned food, pellets), animal by-products, mineral and compound feed or feed supplements. We can also test food and food supplements for human consumption (cooked and uncooked meat products, canned food, etc.) and environmental samples (soil, sludge, etc.).

How long does the test take?

Molecular genetic testing for botulinum toxin producing Clostridium takes 5-10 days.
