National reference laboratory for contaminants from production
A point of reference for analysis of process contaminants – PAH, acrylamide, etc.
The NRL's activities include collaborating with EURL (DTU Copenhagen), managing official laboratories, co-organising and participating in proficiency tests (PTs), and performing routine polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) analyses.
The scope of analysis includes 15+1 EU PAH, PAH4 according to Commission Regulation (EU) No 2023/915), US EPA PAH and acrylamide.
The laboratory operates in accordance with the ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 quality control system.
The instrumentation, technical equipment and methods used are as follows:
- Agilent 7000B GC-MS/MS (triple quadrupole).

- LC-MS/MS: AB Sciex 6500, 5500, 4500 and 2000 (triple quadrupole).
- HPLC-FLD (Pickering derivatisation).
