From 12 to 15 October 2025, the 18th annual 'SVS Director General's Cup' competition took place at the State Veterinary Institute's Training Centre in Lysolaje, Prague.
Students from the Taufer Secondary Vocational School of Veterinary Medicine in Kroměříž won this year's knowledge and skills competition for secondary vocational schools specialising in veterinary medicine. They thus defended their victory from the previous four years. Teams from eight secondary vocational schools in the Czech Republic and two in Slovakia took part in the competition. The winning team received their award from Zbyněk Semerád, the Director General of the State Veterinary Administration (SVS).
